Trevor Philips walked home from a concert. A car hit him.

Philips broke both his legs. He crushed his ankle. He broke his ribs, collarbone and backbone.

He may lose the sight in his left eye.

Philips was an active person. He worked in a restaurant. He ran a company making T-shirts. Philips is an artist.

“It only takes a moment and your life can be completely changed,” says Philips. “We need to realize what damage a car can do.”

In BC cars hit 2300 people in 2013. Sixty-five of them died.
