Do you have a legal problem? Are you unable to pay for legal help? Call Legal Aid. Legal Aid is free.

Legal Aid BC helps people with legal problems. Legal Aid BC can help you in many languages.

Ask Legal Aid for help if:

  • you have been arrested

  • you have immigration problems
Read the PDF and do the exercise

Legal Aid BC may help with other legal problems, too.

Sometimes Legal Aid BC cannot help you. They may know about other places that can help you.

Legal Aid BC can give you:

  • information about the law
  • legal advice on what to do
  • a lawyer to help you in court

The kind of help you get depends on your legal problem and your income. You can get help on the Internet, over the phone, or in person.
